KRD15 pneumatic horizontal shock response spectrum tester is special equipment for spectrum specification shock test, so it can also be called spectrum specification shock machine. The advantages of this equipment are convenient energy adjustment, simple and compact structure, easy operation, and good repeatability of test results. It is the state-of-the-art shock response spectrum tester, using compressed gas energy to provide impact energy, and the shock hammer is pushed to impact the resonance plate to produce high-energy impact. It can meet the requirements of various spectrum specifications established by the current aerospace system, mainly applied in the industries of aerospace, aviation and ships.

Shock Test System
The main structure of the shock response spectrum tester is mainly includes test machine table, shock response spectrum control measurement analysis system, etc.
KRD15 pneumatic horizontal shock response spectrum tester mechanical system consists of a shock table, a response plate, a pneumatic self-locking mechanism, and a pneumatic return device etc.
The specimen is installed on the response plate of the horizontal shock response spectrum tester. When the shock hammer shocks the response plate, the specimen on the response plate produces the corresponding motion after the shock is applied. The acceleration sensor collects the acceleration on the response plate and performs the response spectrum analysis.
Actual physical system is divided into multiple single DOF system physical models
An actual physical system can be decomposed into multiple different single-DOF systems. For each single-degree-of-freedom system, analyze and calculate the shock response spectrum, and finally synthesize it to get the shock response spectrum of the entire system, as shown in figure below.
Control System
The electrical control part of this pneumatic horizontal shock response spectrum testing machine adopts computer control, and the electrical control and pneumatic control systems are integrated and installed in the equipment table. The electrical control system is shown in the following figure.
1) Computer: to realize computer automatic control, an ACL-7130 optically isolated IO card is installed inside, which is used to receive the input signal (encoder, limit switch, etc.) of the control box and output control signals to the control box, and the electronic valves of control pneumatic drive system and various actuators;
2) Controller: It is used to receive the control signal and switch signal from the computer to the computer. The manual panel is set on the control box, which can be operated without the computer, which is convenient for the debugging and maintenance of the equipment. In addition, the control box is mainly used to connect external devices, and a programmable controller is installed in the control box, which can perform hardware control operations of external devices, such as the limit switch hardware limit, etc., to ensure the safe operation of the equipment;
3) Security protection settings: Safety protection switch: When the operator performs adjustment operations, press the pressure plate switch to prohibit any operation of the control box and computer.
Measurement and Control System Software
The shock signal measurement and control system of this equipment is specially matched with the shock response spectrum test equipment to realize the control of the shock response spectrum testing machine and the collection and analysis of acceleration signals, including multi-channel data acquisition, frequency analysis, and shock response spectrum analysis, And complete the task of displaying, printing and saving the analysis results. The block diagram of this system is shown in the following figure.
Reasons and advantages of shock response spectrum instead of classic shock
1) The purpose of studying shock is not to study the shock waveform itself, but to pay more attention to the effect of shock on the system, or to study the damage potential of the impact motion to the system. It is difficult and inaccurate to describe the damage potential with the time history of the shock, and sometimes leads to wrong conclusions. But the shock response spectrum specification can avoid such errors;
2) The classic shock specification strictly specifies the type of pulse, while the shock response spectrum specification does not make strict requirements on the type of shock pulse and the method of generating shock, so it has greater flexibility on experiments;
3) The shock response spectrum simulation is closer to the actual shock environment than the specified shock pulse waveform simulation;
4) For the engineering designer, through the analysis of the shock response spectrum, the maximum dynamic load of each part of the equipment can be more accurately calculated, thereby predicting the potential damage of the shock; at the same time, it can also provide a more flexible test technique to ensure the repeatability of the test.
